hi there…coming from the UK on a Mini Cruise to Amsterdam…we sail from Newcastle…and basically two nights on board the Ferry…then 5/6 hours (weather permitting) in Amsterdam itself..!!
I have done this before but with an ex girlfriend, and we did all the adult things, that Amsterdam has to offer….but obviously with an 8 yr old it will have to be different…

Can anybody help/guide me as to what i could do..??

I have heard the zoo is good..but with limited time, dont want to waste any time…
what about department stores that have some good toy departments..??
Any soft play areas..??
Never did a cruise along the canals..?? so maybe might do one of them…can anybody recommend a good company..?? or shall i just head for the tourist info place..??

Thanks

Michael

Passport expiry question.Help?

viixeee asked:

I’m going on a trip to Belgium from the uk, its with p&o ferries its 1 night traveling there a day in the city then a night traveling back…so its only for 2 days. Heres the problem…

My passport expires on May the 2nd 2009 and iv found out to travel to Belgium you need at least six months left on your passport to travel

Now that means it runs out in November and im going on the 14th November ….

does it go by dates? because if it does that means it would run out on the 2nd of november!

Or does it actually go by the months cos if it does i still have…

1.december
2.january
3.febuary
4.march
5.april
6.may

Which would mean it does still have six months on!
Iv rang up passport places but there not 100% sure.

I know i could quickly re-new… but it was just meant to be a cheap weekend break..i dont want to be paying an extra 80pound before xmas…

Please help!

Cheapest excursions for Cancun trips?

November 14th, 2008

Andy asked:

Hello,

Does anyone know of any companies that offer inexpensive trips around Cancun. I am with a UK tour operator called ‘First Choice’ and they charge around £80 for a single trip to Chichen Itza! ~ And you’ll be ferried around in a tourist convoy :S

I’m sure ive seen a company(ies) that offer it waaay cheaper and give you a bit more freedom to explore the sites for yourself.

Can anyone recommend any?

Thanks!
Andy
